Quantum of Solace, in its second weekend of release in the U.S. and Canada, was knocked off its perch by Twilight, the teen-vampire love story. Twilight had an estimated gross of $70.6 million, writes Bloomberg’s Andy Fixmer. Quantum’s $27.4 million estimated weekend gross barely put it ahead of Bolt, an animated film, at $27 million.
The Bloomberg story notes that Quantum now has grossed $109 million in the U.S. and Canada and $418 million worldwide.
