The McLaughlin Group, the weekly political gabfest borrowed Quantum of Solace as a segment title during the installment that aired the weekend of May 9-10.
The segment, naturally, wasn’t about secret agents. Instead, it was about how the U.S. economy is showing some signs of stabilizing.
It turns out this wasn’t the first time. Back during the weekend of Feb. 14-15, host John McLaughlin also used the James Bond movie title for “issue three,” a segment about the U.S. Congress passing an economic stimulus package.
