We were contacted recently by a representative of Frank PR, the public relations firm handling promotions for Activision’s upcoming GoldenEye 007 game. Shipping for PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii, the game arrives on shelves this Friday, November 5. Naturally, they’re pretty enthused about it, but that enthusiasm seems to be reflected in the world of gamers… and we’re catching a bit of it ourselves! Some details:
Starring Daniel Craig as James Bond, the highly anticipated launch of GoldenEye 007 is fast approaching. The new game play features allows you to modify the game’s multiplayer modes to play against your friends so you can challenge your opponents in melee only, paintball, singularity and nick nack modes or combine to create over 200 game combinations.
You can also play as your favourite Bond characters – will you play as Oddjob, Scaramanga, Baron Samedi, Jaws, Dr. No, Rosa Klebb, Red Grant or Blofield?
Featuring a split-screen multiplayer option and over 200 different game combinations, such as the The Man with the Golden Gun and You Only Live Twice modes, challenge your friends to play them all!
Some of the motion-capture technology that went into the game actually features Daniel Craig’s stunt man Ben Cooke to make the stunts as realistic as possible.
Here’s an exclusive gallery of screenshots they were kind enough to supply us. Even to us old-timers, this looks pretty cool:
