CBS has entered a plot description for the May 16 season-ending episode of the new Hawaii Five-0. It appears in the IMDB.com entry for the episode and reads thusly:
When Five-0 gets too close to the truth about Wo Fat and his associates, the criminal mastermind retaliates by trying to destroy the team. They’ve always played by their own rules, but when the Governor can no longer protect them, it’s time for Five-0 to pay the consequences of their action.
A preview of the episode will probably air as part of the end titles for the May 9 episode.
UPDATE: At the end of the May 9 episode, Will Yung Lee, as Sang Min, a recurring villain who first appeared in the pilot, shows up as Five-0 HQs begging to be put into protective custody, saying Wo Fat wants to kills him. (Lee is an alumnus of the Bond film series, playing Colonel Moon in 2002’s Die Another Day.)
In the previews, it looks like Wo Fat frames McGarrett next week. The original series featured a plot where Wo Fat. 1.0 did that to McGarrett 1.0, (“The Ninety-Second War, a two-part story in the 1971-72 season) but it was part of a broader espionage plot.
UPDATE II: Here’s part of the May 9 episode, which begins with an attempt to get Wo Fat that ends in a surprise:
