Hugh Grant has been added to the cast of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. movie, The Hollywood Reporter SAID IN AN AUG. 8 STORY.

The trade publication says the actor “will play the head of British Naval Intelligence.” No other details were provided.

The movie’s IMDB.COM ENTRY also lists a few more crew members. Among them is Paul Jennings as second unit director. Jennings performed the same duties on the two Sherlock Holmes movies helmed by U.N.C.L.E. director Guy Ritchie as well as the recent Red 2.

At this point, no word on who will fill several major jobs, including director of photography, composer and editor. The film, with Henry Cavill as Napoleon Solo and Armie Hammer as Illya Kuryakin, is scheduled to be filming next month.

UPDATE (Aug. 11): The IMDB.com entry for the movie has been updated to list JAMES HERBERT as editor. Herbert’s credits include, as you’ve probably guessed by now, Guy Ritchie’s two Sherlock Holmes movies.
