MI6 Confidential looks at SPECTRE


MI6 Confidential has a new issue out looking at SPECTRE past and future.

The publication has a look at filming of SPECTRE, the 24th James Bond film produced by Eon Productions. It also has articles about the actors who played SPECTRE chief Ernst Stavro Blofeld and how the criminal organization was depicted in novels by Ian Fleming and John Gardner.

Other features include a 30th anniversary look at A View to a Kill, Roger Moore’s final 007 film.

  1. I ‘am not really commenting on m16 confidential’s new issue.
    but the different face’s of spectre’s chief of staff Ernst stavro blofeld
    the reason’s why I think in the earlier bond films, we don’t see
    blofeld’s face is the film-producers never really decided what the
    character should look like in the films.
    however when ‘you only live twice’ came out you could see that
    actor the late Donald pleasance inbodied the character making him
    his own. even if it was much later on in the film.
    again eon producers still kept to this image when using the late
    telly savales as blofeld in ‘on her majesty’s secret service.
    making them the definitive ersnt stavro blofeld in bond history

    in my opinion the producers went wrong when they cast the late
    Charles gray as blofeld in ‘diamond are for ever’ when they had already used him to play agent Henderson in a bond film.
