SPECTRE is projected to finish the New Year’s weekend near the $865 million mark globally and $198 million in the U.S. and Canada, according to THE BOX OFFICE MOJO WEBSITE.
The 24th James Bond film is No. 6 worldwide and No. 10 in the U.S. and Canada among 2015-released films, according to the website, which tracks movie box office information. SPECTRE had estimated ticket sales of $725,000 in the U.S. and Canada for the Jan. 1-3 weekend.
Unadjusted for inflation, SPECTRE is the No. 2 box office 007 film behind 2012’s Skyfall at $1.11 billion globally and $304.4 million in the U.S. and Canada.
