Answer: Hard to say. But we engaged the talented writer-artist during his weekly question and answer session on Twitter.
For those unfamiliar, Steranko wrote and drew Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD for Marvel from 1966 to 1968 and it created quite a stir. Here’s how the Sunday exchange went:
.@TheSpyCommand HELL OF A RIDE WHILE IT LASTED would be an understatement from my viewpoint–because the trip ain’t over ’til it’s over!

.@TheSpyCommand Let me translate that for you: THE BEST IS YET TO COME! Hang in–and you’ll see what I mean!

If something is in the pipeline, we eagerly await to see the results.

Thank you for the confirmation of some gossip I overheard. Steranko was the reason for me to collect comics way back n the 60’s. He was the icing on the cake for the Nick Fury SHIELD series of which I have the collected versions now. He has done some “recent” work for other titles like Batman, but only covers. I would dearly like to see his version of the new SHIELD, but I have ceased collecting and I am scared I’ll kiss the event. Please keep an eye out for itand let me and us know. An ardent Steranko fan.
