Keith Olbermann, at the start of his nightly MSNBC program, Countdown With Keith Olbermann, teased a segment on Senator Arlen Specter’s bid to win the Pennsylvania Democratic primary after switching political parties last year. Specter, 80, faces a tough race on May 18 against Joe Sestak.
Olbermann’s tease? “Only James Bond did a better job of beating Specter!”
Of course, Ernst Stavro Blofeld’s organization spelled it SPECTRE, but who needs details when making a 007 joke?
