Check off Villeneuve from Bond 26

It would seem Denis Villeneuve won’t be available to direct Bond 26.

The director is doing a movie for Warner Bros. that has a release date of December 2026, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

There are no details available concerning that project. Villeneuve was in the conversation to direct No Time to Die. But he committed to doing a film adaptation of Dune, which eventually became two movies.

Villeneuve previously said he’d be interested in working on a James Bond movie. But it appears he’s moving on.

To recap: Bond 26 has no script (at least one anybody knows about), no director, and no star. The purpose of this post is to demonstrate one potential director for Bond 26 seems to be busy with other things.
